Hi!  They call me Pastor Mark.  I’ve had the privilege of being the senior pastor at Century Meadows since 1987.  I have also had the joy of being married to Terri for close to four decades.  We have two sons, Bryan, married to Rachelle, and Brad.  We are also grandparents to five special children.

            There are particular joys in being the pastor at Century Meadows Baptist Church.  To name a few, studying God`s word and giving its message to the people, seeing people come into a vital relationship with God through His son, Jesus Christ, and finally, working and relating with God`s people to serve Him in our world.  This is a great family of God`s people

After just recently coming onto the staff here at Century Meadows I have been learning how a small town operates.  I was born and raised in Orange County California until 1999 when I experienced my first cold winter in Edmonton Alberta.  After surviving the cold winters I knew I was unstoppable and completed my studies at Taylor University College and Seminary. 

In 2006 I married my beautiful wife Tya and we recently moved to Camrose so I could take on the Associate Pastor in Youth position here at Century Meadows Baptist Church.  My wife and I have hearts and a passion not only to see youth come to know the Lord but take it a step further and learn how to “Thrive” on God’s word  and apply biblical teaching to the way they live their life.  There is no greater feeling then when God is using me to minister to youth and help them figure out their walk with the Lord.
